Alanya village trip is a cultural and nature trip that will introduce you to nomadic village culture and show you the other side of Alanya, which is a bustling tourist destination.
Alanya Terrace is our first destination on our village tour. From the high slope of the Taurus mountains, where you can see all of Alanya, the Alanya terrace with the I LOVE ALANYA sign, which can be seen from everywhere, offers a great view.
Mahmut seydi village is a historic community in Alanya's northwestern region, around 25 kilometres from the city centre. It is 600 metres above sea level and situated in a forested environment. The name of the settlement is derived from Mahmut Seydi, a Khorasan Saint. We'll go to the 800-year-old Mahmut Seydi mosque, which is the oldest in the city.
The mosque is also close to the saint's tomb. In the mosque, you can see some of the great specimens of woodworking. The natural landscape of plant texture that surrounds the community is mirrored in the mosque's material and decorating features.
The historic village house will be our second stop in this tranquil and serene Mahmut Seydi village in the Taurus Mountains, where we will learn more about the community culture. We'll enjoy the welcoming villagers' fresh sage tea and observe the villagers' handicrafting skills.
From the narrow roads of the pine trees to the gedevet plateau, we will continue our Alanya village tour programme and have lunch at our picnic restaurant, which mimics the dimçay river in the mountains. We'll end our trip with a breathtaking view of the Taurus Mountains before dropping you off at your accommodation.
