OVERVIEW:
Gear up to explore Heybeliada and Buyukada, the largest islands of Turkey’s Princes’ islands, on our full-day excursion from Istanbul. We take a trip over the Sea of Marmara, taking in the breathtaking views of the city.

Learn about the Princes’ Islands’ history and how the Byzantine Empire’s princesses lived there. In Buyukada, a horse-drawn carriage trip takes you all across the island, allowing you to take in the lovely landscape and learn about the island’s history.

TOUR DETAILS:

We will pick you from the hotel.This trip takes you to Kınalıada, Heybeliada, and Buyukada islands.

Our first destination is Kınalıada. Take a walk through the streets with your guide and take in the island’s pure air. You will spend about an hour at Heybeliada before going to Heybeliada on the boat.

Buyukada is the largest of the Princes Islands. Explore the island’s natural beauty with your guide and discover more about the island’s history while riding in a horse-drawn carriage. Your guide will explain how the Princes Islands were previously utilized as a haven for exiled leaders and princes, as well as how life was as a monastery colony throughout the Byzantine-Christian period.

In Buyukada, take a stroll by the magnificent wooden homes, which are excellent representations of late Ottoman architecture on the island. Feed the seagulls that may be seen throughout Buyukada.

After a great lunch, enjoy the rest of the day around the island on your own.
Meet your guide at the dock after your leisure time on the island and board the boat back to Istanbul. After your delightful journey to the Princes’ Islands, return to your accommodation.

After enjoying some free time on the island, meet your guide at the harbor and board the boat back to Istanbul. After this wonderful journey to the Princes’ Islands, you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Tour Itinerary:

Princess Islands tour pick up 09:00-09:30
-Transfer to the boat
-We will first visit Kınalıada, where we can spend some free time while walking on the authentic streets of Kınalıada.
-Cruise to Heybeliada, enjoy free time or ride a bicycle. Meeting in the boat.
-Next stop is Büyükada, Here we will take lunch and spend some leisure time of about 1-1.5 hours
-Come back to Istanbul around 18:00
